Our 3rd day in Chicago

Wednesday was by far our busiest day in Chicago. We were just trying to fit everything in before the big drive home the next day. We started out the day by going to the field museum. Our favorite thing in that museum was the dinosaurs and the mummy's. This was Richards favorite museum of them all. After we visited that museum we went to the park and got a Chicago style hot dog which was not my favorite but it was not too bad. Rich taught paisley how to suck from a straw. Paisley thought it was great! Then we went and walked around solider stadium. Our last museum that we went to was the alder museum which was full of space information. Our favorite thing in that museum was the play area for Paisley. After a long day of museums we still had two things to do...eat a Chicago style pizza and go to Sky Deck Chicago. The pizza was amazing. Me and Richard were in aww. Our camera died at the sky deck so we did not get to many pictures on the camera but the view was amazing. We timed it just right too with the sun. We let Paisley crawl out on the clear glass and look down but she was not scared but I was!

Our 2nd day in Chicago

We started the morning off by going to the museum of science and industry. This was a huge museum that we did not even scratch the surface of. We learned lots of new things about tornado's, airplanes, trains, and the human body. This museum had just about everything in it. Paisley did not like the 3D film about tornado's at all though it was way too scary for her. That afternoon we went to Navy Pier and played on the beach at lake Michigan. It was such a nice day it was 85 degrees but the water was still freezing cold. Near the end of the day we wen on a river boat architecture cruise. It was really cool going through the city on a boat in between buildings. I can't believe how many cool buildings there are in Chicago.

Our first day in Chicago

After a long 5 hour drive to Chicago we quickly checked into our hotel and headed to Shedd Aquarium. It was really cool because it was on lake Michigan. We saw so many sea creatures that we had never seen before. After we were done with the aquarium we went outside and went on a walk by the lake. That night we went out to dinner at Cemita Puebla which was amazing. This was a restaurant that was featured on the TV show called dives and dines. Basically it is a show about restaurants that don't look very nice but have great food. Richard loved this food because is reminded him of his mission. We bothe ranked it as a 10.00!

St Patricks Day

I have been thinking all month what to do for St Patricks Day. I wanted to make some green food. I found some recipes for shamrock smoothies and shamrock wraps and I thought they sounded really good...but they weren't. Good thing I made hamburgers as well. Rich just laughed at my dinner. He really did not want to give it a try but he did and he just looked at me and started to laugh. I guess I will be trying something different next year.

Our first time to Louisville Zoo

It has been a long time since I last wrote because we have been so busy having so much fun. Me and Paisley went to the zoo while Rich was at school. She loved the elephants and the giraffes. It was so cute when I showed the animals to Paisley to just pointed to them and looked at me and said oh oh oh. She wanted to make sure that I was seeing what she was. We spent a lot of the time at the zoo at the playground playing with Paileys friends. Morgan (little girl in the Picture) loves Paisley and hangs around her all the time.
