Paisleys First Birthday

The day before Paisleys Birthday we took her swimming at the YMCA. She loves the swimming pool. She got a nice farmers tan too!

On Paisleys Birthday I got up to make her a nice breakfast. I made her waffles and scrambled eggs. She thought it tasted great but the only problem was 45 minutes later Paisleys eyes puffed up, she got red spots all over, and then she threw up. We think she might be allergic to eggs. Once she got some medicine in her she felt much better. Paisley had tons of fun opening all her gifts and skyping our family. We all had fun watching her eat cupcakes and ice cream. She especially loved the ice cream. That night we went on a walk to all our friends houses to drop off a birthday treat for them from Paisley. Everyone was so happy to see her. Right before Paisley went to bed we let her play with all her bath toys and have a bubble bath. I love the Pictures we got of bath time.

Paisleys Early Birthday Present

Richard has been wanting to take Paisley for a bike ride for the longest time. We were going to give Paisley the bike seat for her birthday but Richard was to excited to try it out.

Derby Week

I did my best at getting into derby. I followed the derby on TV for the last 2 weeks. It gave me something to do while Rich was studying for finals. On Thursday morning we got up early and went to The Dawn at the Downs. We got to see a lot of the Derby horses practice for the Derby. We had fun dressing up. Paisley would not wear her hat though. That evening we went to the Pegasus parade. We did not stay for the whole thing because it took to long for Cindy Lauper to  sing her songs. I was excited that Miss America was in the Parade.

Richards Last Day of his First Year of Dental School

We were so excited to have Richard finish his finals. The evening that he finished finals we went to his school BBQ at Cherokee park. It was fun to meet a lot of the people in his class. Richard had fun playing with Paisley at the park.
