The Night before Halloween

We spent the day carving pumpkins and making treats for friends. Paisley loves pumpkin seeds. I let her have a couple of handfuls of them. Tonight I read them Halloween books before they went to bed.

Richard is 30!

I can’t believe Rich is 30. That seems really old to me. I am glad it is him not me. He was spoiled with lots of presents. We spent the evening eating an Oreo ice cream pie and watching his new movie Peter Pan.

Paisley Loves Dance

I finally got to watch paisley dance for the last 15 minutes of her class. She was so happy to have all the parents watch her and her class. I was really surprised at how well she did.

Deer Farms

I love October. It is probably my favorite time of year. We tried a new farm this year and we really liked it. We had fun picking out our pumpkins, petting farm animals, and playing.

Some how she still looks adorable after she face plants it in the dirt.

We were a little worried about taking the kids in a corn maze because we thought me might get lost. In the family corn maze they had check points that told a story. It made the corn maze really fun and easy. It only took us about 15 min to find our way out and then we did it again.

Halloween Parade

I love parades. I have no idea why but I just love them. We were all sitting at home watching a movie together for a Friday night activity because it was raining when I remembered we were going to miss the Halloween parade. Rich was nice enough to run us downtown in the rain to catch the last 20 mins of the Halloween parade. We were both glad that we went though because Paisley had been looking forward to this parade.

Jellystone Park

One of my favorite things we have done in Kentucky is Jellystone Park. I absolutely love this place. We had so much fun this year. Easton and Richard loved the jump pad. Paisley did not like it when other kids were on it but our cabin was right by it so she got some alone time first thing in the morning.

We went on a hay ride the first night we were there with yogi the bear. The kids got to throw magic pumpkin seeds out into a field. The next morning they got to go and find their pumpkin that grew. Paisley did so well in the costume contest. She was the only one in her age group that introduced herself. I was really proud of her. Paisley and Easton got so much candy trick or treating. This was only a small part of what they got. They both picked out suckers to eat first.

Paisley was very excited to sleep on a bunk bed. I am glad she volunteered.

We went on an hour cave tour at mammoth caves. Easton and Paisley both really liked the cave.

Kentucky Kingdom

We had so much fun this summer at Kentucky Kingdom. I wished I would have taken more pictures this summer of us there. Paisley learned to do waterslides and small roller-coasters! Her favorite ride was Mile High Falls and the tea cups. Easton loved the tucks and the swimming pool. Me and Rich went on a date one night and rode some of the bigger rides. We went on one of the largest water slides in America. It was really scary. I really liked the 5D theater and the water park.
