House Fire

Over Spring break someone decided to light our wreath on fire. I woke up at 1 a.m to a knock on the door. As soon as I heard the knock on the door I knew our house was on fire because I could smell smoke. I quickly got up and ran out to the living room. I could hardly see anything because our living room and kitchen was full of smoke. When I answered the door my neighbor Chris Sullivan said our door was on fire and he put it out with his fire extinguisher. His wife was just about ready to go to bed when she smelt smoke and asked her husband to go and check. We called the police and with in a few minutes we had the k9 unit, fireman, helicopters, the bomb squad all at our house trying to find out who had lit our house on fire. They told us that an arsonist has lit about 40 homes on fire with in a couple of years and they can not find him. Our apartment complex has him on camera getting out of his car but the police have still not been able to find him. Our house smelt terrible and I was a little worried. Later that day we had someone come and bring an ozone machine into our house to get the smoke smell out of it. We had to leave the house for a couple of days while the ozone machine was on. This worked out great though anyways because we already had a hotel up in Cincinnati to go and see Mitch and Toni and to go to the children's museum. When we retuned home we were shocked with how well the ozone machine worked. We could hardly smell any smoke! We were all very lucky.
